Why Therapists Should Not Treat Our Quiz as Clinical Material
The quiz is entertainment fiction, a story mapped from answers and repeatable when the answers repeat. It is not an assessment, not a session note, and not a document that belongs in a clinical chart. Therapists and counselors should not treat the result as material about a patient. If a client brings a card, talk about what they hoped from a piece of media, and do not file the card as data.
Key facts
- There is no clinical validation, no normative sample, and no scoring key that measures a disorder.
- The output is prose, not a scale. Same answers, same prose. That is a product rule, not a psychometric property.
- It does not diagnose, treat, or track symptoms. It must not be quoted in a letter as if it had.
- It is not for children as an evaluation, and it is not a tool to process trauma on purpose.
- BaZi health lines are also not diagnoses. They are a different product and still not yours to file.
- Crisis care is local emergency services and your own clinical pathways, not this website.
What “not clinical material” covers
It covers intake. Do not ask a client to complete the quiz so you can read them. It covers notes. Do not paste the chapter into the record as an observation. It covers formulation. Do not write that a client’s fear, attachment, or grief is explained by the imagined life. It covers supervision and teaching. A case seminar can discuss a client who mentioned a quiz. It should not discuss the quiz result as a finding.
We did not design items to surface trauma, and we do not want the quiz used that way. Questions are preferences and moods for a story. They are not a screen. A tender reaction means the person is a person. It does not mean the fiction found a memory. The consumer-facing version of that line sits on past-life stories and grief.
Entertainment is the label, including when the prose sounds serious
Self and Path chapters use present tense. They still are not personality inventories. The careful reading is self and path chapters. Period chapters and partner or pet stories are the same shelf: fiction. The house split between that shelf and professional metaphysics is why past-life products stay labeled entertainment.
A client may be neurodivergent and may prefer structured text. Preference does not convert this prose into an adapted assessment. A structured metaphysical chart, for adults who want one, is still not a clinical instrument. We say so on structured charts for neurodiverse readers. Please do not “translate” either product into a report for a school, a court, an insurer, or an employer.
Metaphysics you might see in the same browser
Some clients also open BaZi or a good-day rank. Those are guidance tools with a stated method. They are not entertainment, and they are also not your instruments. Element words are not a diagnosis. A health-tendency sentence is not medicine. Sex at birth on a full chart only orients luck direction. It is not a gender history you should copy into notes from our page. An unknown hour blanks the hour pillar rather than being inferred. If a client wants those limits in writing, the glossary defines the words we print and stops there.
Do not recommend a date rank as part of treatment. Do not recommend a chart as part of treatment. Almanac use as a private decision ritual, for people who are not your patient in that moment, is described for skeptics on a skeptic’s guide. It still promises no outcome and still is not care.
Boundaries with family material
Do not ask a client to quiz a child, a partner, or a deceased relative. Partner and pet quizzes are adult entertainment about imagined figures, not systemic assessments. Ancestor and birthplace chapters are not genograms. See ancestor chapter and birthplace chapter. Adoption files and other people’s birth data are out of bounds on adoption and chart curiosity.
LGBTQ clients do not need a chart or a story to justify a relationship. Our fiction does not assign partners. Our charts drop outdated pair scripts on BaZi for LGBTQ readers. Please do not reintroduce those scripts in the room by quoting a product that refused them.
If a client is in danger, follow your local emergency and safeguarding duties. Do not finish the session by suggesting they retake a quiz. This site will not be the safety plan.
Teaching and research
A classroom lesson on fiction literacy is possible and is not clinical education. It is described on classroom use. A research project that wanted to treat the quiz as a measure would be using it against its design. We do not offer a scientific claim, and ranking pages should not invent one. See past-life SEO myths.
You can tell a client, in plain words, that you will not interpret the card. That sentence is often the whole intervention the product requires.
What this is not
This page is not clinical guidance, a modality, or a referral network. It is not a request that therapists ban clients from reading fiction on their own time. It is a request that the fiction stay out of the chart, the letter, and the formulation. The quiz remains entertainment. It does not become material because a professional is holding it.
