The visible magic is boring on purpose. A PastLifeTest result is not a vision and not a roll of the dice. Answers become tags. Tags pick from a small fixed set. Prose fills one scene. Same answers, same story. That is craft. It is not proof a life happened.

Step 1 — Questions are tags, not a confession
About twelve preferences: rooms, weather, work you respect, the silence you can stand, what you would leave unfinished. No birth minute required for the free card. No grade. Partner and bond doors add companion-shaped or pair-shaped tags. Pet door adds animal-day tags. Still not a trauma inventory.
Step 2 — A small fixed set, not a fog
Tags collapse onto a short rack: cartographer, harbor clerk, silk dyer, winter courier, kitchen chronicler — plus pair postures or dog/cat flavors on the other doors. The rack is small so the prose can be specific. A quiz that never repeats is a slot machine. A quiz that always says “you were kind” fits anyone.
Step 3 — A model writes a scene
The prompt is era + role + tags. The opening should feel like a first camera shot: a tool, a street, a thing not done. If a sentence commands you to quit, wait, or contact someone from a dream, it is a bad line. Ignore it. FAQ.
Step 4 — Same answers, same story
Refreshing should not mint a new person. That stability is why a card can be shared without drifting an hour later. Stability is not a parish register.
If a result feels unlike you, the costume missed. Take it again later. If and when we offer a paid-chapter rewrite, it is one craft pass within seven days — workshop, not a truer soul.
What this method refuses
