What you already have when you pay nothing
After about twelve questions: era, archetype (or pair/animal posture), eighty to one hundred twenty words, a vertical card. Same answers, same story. That is the Glimpse layer described on About.
If you never unlock a chapter, you still took a free past life quiz. A site that hides the street name behind an email is doing a different job.
What a paid chapter adds
More rooms. A second fork. A closing image. Still invented from the same tags. Still entertainment. Still not a recovered biography.
A portrait edition, when offered, is a literary / period picture of the character — not a photograph from an archive. Spouse-shaped: spouse portrait. Pet-shaped: pet portrait.

What never changes when you pay
We still do not claim past lives are real. We still do not offer regression or medical advice. Bond cards still do not diagnose a couple. Pet chapters still do not become a session with an animal. FAQ.
If and when we offer a paid rewrite, it is a one-time craft pass within seven days — workshop, not a truer soul. If and when we offer letters from a character, that is extra fiction for people who already liked the first story — not a surprise signup under question 12.
Soft-launch honesty
Engineering on /test/spouse, /test/pet, and /test/bond may land after the learn pages. The free/paid contract is the same when those routes go live. If a portrait or rewrite button is missing, do not invent it in a caption.
