What Personal Date Matching Reveals About You

Personal date matching reveals two calendar facts derived from a civil birth date you choose to type: the year branch in force after Start of Spring, and the day pillar of that date. Those facts are used as clash penalties against candidate days. They are not a dossier. Pick a Good Day is professional guidance, and the personal layer is a narrow correction on an almanac rank.

Key facts

  • The form asks for a birth date, not an hour, not a workplace, and not sex at birth.
  • The year branch can differ from a January “animal year” table, because the term, not New Year’s Day and not the lunar festival, sets it.
  • A clash penalty changes sort order. The card can show that a candidate day opposes one of those branches. It does not narrate your medical history.
  • A screenshot of the form often includes the date you typed. The metaphysics is small. The date itself can identify you.
  • An email magic link saves a note to the inbox that asked. That inbox becomes part of the audience.
  • You may leave the birth field empty. The public almanac still ranks the occasion.

The size of the disclosure

Type 14 April 1988, or any other adult date you are willing to handle, and the tool converts it. It does not look up your employer, your address, your diagnoses, or your bank. It does not build ten gods. It does not print luck steps. Someone who already knows the traditional calendar can, from the date alone, talk about a year branch and a day pillar. That is true of any Chinese calendar conversion, including ones you run yourself. Matching does not add a secret file on top.

What the result adds is relational: this candidate day clashes that year branch, or it clashes that day pillar, or it clashes neither. A reader who sees your card and also knows the six-clash pairs can infer which branch you carry. If you did not want that inference in a particular room, do not put the card in that room. The rank without a birth date remains available and is the right share when the audience is a team, a family chat, or a vendor.

A full chart is a larger disclosure because it is built to be read as a portrait of temperament, work climate, and timing themes. That product is BaZi, and its contents are listed on BaZi Four Pillars. Do not assume a date-match screenshot is “only vibes” and a chart link is the only sensitive object. Both can carry a birthday. The date match is simply smaller in method. Privacy is about where the birthday travels, not about how mystical the paragraph sounds.

What a colleague can see if you forward the card

You are planning a workshop and you forward a preview that used your birth date. The colleague sees the top day, the officer, the path, and a note that a year-branch clash applied or did not. If the interface or your own caption includes 14 April 1988, they now have your birthday. They still do not have your hour, your medical record, or a ten-god essay. They do have a fact many workplaces do not need.

Crop the date, or rerun the window with the field empty, before you send it. Say which version you sent. “This is the blank-field meeting rank for the two afternoons the client offered” is a professional sentence. “This is my fate for Thursday” invites questions you do not have to answer. The client’s two afternoons were 15:00 and 16:30 Gulf time on the only day their office opens late. Those clock times are the constraint. Your branch is not part of their brief.

Where the note lives

Saving uses an email link. Whoever can open that mailbox can open the note. A shared family inbox, a work alias, or a partner who knows the password is an audience you chose by where you sent the link. Forwarding the mail forwards the audience. This site does not mail a paper calendar and does not print a talisman. The sensitive object is digital, and digital copies multiply.

Do not collect other adults’ dates “for the group rank.” One form, one date, one person who consented. Do not enter a child’s birth date. This site does not write charts for minors, and a date match is still a use of a minor’s identity. If a school form or a passport office needs a child’s date, that is their process, not ours.

Public figures get the same restraint from the other direction. Do not type a stranger’s birthday, a celebrity’s, or an ex’s, to see which day “clashes them,” and do not post the result. Curiosity is not consent. The disclaimer covers claim limits. It also sits beside a simple privacy habit: the smallest input that answers the question.

Empty field, still a complete tool

A travel rank with no birth date is not a defective rank. It is the shared almanac: activity lines, path, officer, clash direction of the day itself. Many decisions need nothing else. Add your date only when you want those two penalties and you are ready for that date to appear in a saved note. You can delete your copy. You cannot delete someone else’s screenshot. Decide before you type.

The past-life quiz does not reveal a year branch either. It is entertainment fiction, and an imagined era is not a birth date. Do not paste a quiz card next to a date match and call the pair an identity. They are different products. Date guidance stays on Pick a Good Day. How the penalties fit the score is on the fact sheet.

A practical minimum

If you would not put the birthday in the email, do not put it in the tool for a result you plan to forward. Run blank, share the why-text, and keep the personal pass on your own screen. Help answers product questions.

What this is not

  • A background check, a health record, or a financial profile.
  • A full hour chart, a useful-element essay, or a luck-cycle printout.
  • Permission to process someone else’s birthday, especially a child’s.
  • Evidence that an unclashed day is safe to spend with a particular person.
  • A paper object we mail. Nothing is shipped.
  • A charge for opening one preview.
