Hurting Officer in BaZi: Independent Expression Without Labels

Hurting Officer (伤官) is the output star whose polarity opposes the day master: the day master produces it, and the yin or yang does not match. Classical language says this star injures the officer, which in a careful English reading means friction between sharp expression and procedure. It is a map of a relationship inside the chart, used as professional guidance, and it is not a label you wear to a meeting.
