Friend and Rob Wealth Stars: Peer Energy in Plain English

Friend and Rob Wealth stars are the peer row of the ten gods: stems of the same element as the day master. Companion, sometimes called the friend star, is the same polarity. Rob Wealth is the opposite polarity. Together they describe peer energy in plain English: people and pressures of a similar kind to the day master, including support and including competition. The names are professional guidance. Companion does not prove who your friends are. Rob Wealth does not accuse anyone of stealing.

Key facts

  • Same element and same polarity as the day master is Companion (比肩). Jia against Jia is the clean example.
  • Same element and opposite polarity is Rob Wealth (劫财). Jia against Yi is the clean example.
  • Both are peers. The split is polarity only. It is not a split between good people and criminals.
  • On a thinner day master, peer stars are often part of what the useful-element sketch welcomes, beside resource. On a very strong day master, more peers can be read as extra abundance rather than as the priority.
  • A peer stem adds support in the strength sense when it is not the day stem itself. That is a point in a sum, not a headcount of allies.
  • The stars describe stems on the reader’s chart. They do not identify a colleague by name.

Peer energy, said without the costume

The day master is one stem of an element. Another stem of that element is like meeting the same category again. If the polarity matches, the traditional name is Companion or friend star. The image is standing shoulder to shoulder. If the polarity differs, the traditional name is Rob Wealth. The image in the old word is competition for the same ground, including the wealth the day master might otherwise hold. Images are how the names were taught. They are not evidence. A chart with Rob Wealth on the month stem has opposite-polarity peer qi in the month. It does not have a thief in the month. A chart with Companion on the year has same-polarity peer qi in the year room. It does not have a guaranteed ally in the family.

What BaZi is lists the ten names. This page stays inside one row so the friend label and the rob label can be disarmed together. Splitting them into a “nice page” and a “scary page” is how Rob Wealth keeps its false charge. The four pillars matter because a peer on the hour, when the hour exists, is not a peer on the month. Same row, different room, different overreading. People dump both rooms into “everyone around me is a rival.” The chart did not say everyone.

Polarity is still not gender. A yin peer stem is not a female rival. A yang peer stem is not a male friend. Sex at birth is the luck-direction switch, not a casting note for this row. The disclaimer blocks the financial reading too. Rob Wealth is not a forecast of stolen wages. Companion is not a forecast of a partnership that will make money.

How strength changes the tone of the same star

Peer qi supports the day master in the simple sense that it is the same element. A day master with thin seasonal support is often glad, in the method’s terms, to see that company. A day master already prosperous in the month may not need more of its own element, and the sketch will point elsewhere, toward output, wealth, and officer. The star did not change names. The welcome changed. That is why “friend” is a bad one-word translation if it always sounds like a benefit. Sometimes the peer is company. Sometimes the peer is a crowd. The band tells you which sentence the house sketch prefers. It still does not name a person.

Two peer stems are a repetition of the row. Note the repetition. Do not multiply it into a team you must join or avoid. Hidden stems can also be peers if they match the day master’s element. The full chart is where those stored stems are labeled. A hidden Rob Wealth is still not a hidden criminal. It is a stored stem of the same element and the other polarity.

A Figma file due at 17:00

A reader sees Rob Wealth on the hour stem and refuses to share a design file with a teammate before a 17:00 deadline, on the theory that the star means the teammate will take the work. The deadline is the team’s. The file is a shared job. Rob Wealth is opposite-polarity peer energy on that reader’s chart, in the hour room, if that is where the stem sits. It is not a background check. They should share what the team needs in time to export at 17:00. Credit and authorship, if those are genuinely disputed, are a conversation with the people involved, not a ten-god decision. The chart at BaZi will not list the teammate’s name. It was never asked for a name.

Companion does not fix this in the other direction. A friend star is not a reason to hand over a password or to skip a review of who has access. Ordinary care with a file is ordinary care. The star is not the access policy.

Competition without a villain

Classical texts use peer stars to talk about siblings, colleagues, and rivals for the same opportunity. Those are themes. A theme is a question: “Where does this chart show same-element pressure?” It is not a finding: “This sibling is the Rob Wealth.” Assigning the god to a person in your life is the step that turns vocabulary into suspicion. Do not take that step. Pick a Good Day will not pick a collaborator for you either. It ranks dates. BaZi Four Pillars shows that ten-god glosses are already on the light chart at $12.99, with hidden stems on the full chart at $19.99. Paying does not reveal an enemy the light chart concealed. Both charts use the same two peer names.

Adults only. Do not label a child as a friend star or a rob-wealth star relative to a parent’s chart. We do not cast children, and we do not cast relatives as props.

Plain sentences

“The month stem matches my element and polarity, so it is Companion. That is peer energy in the month, not a list of my friends.” “The hour stem matches my element and not my polarity, so it is Rob Wealth. That is competition language inside the chart, not a theft, and the file still goes to the team before 17:00.” Those two sentences are the page. Anything that names a culprit has left the method.

What this is not

This is not a friendship test, a theft warning, or a map of siblings. It is not entertainment. Companion and Rob Wealth are peer stars in professional BaZi guidance, the same element as the day master, split only by polarity. The 17:00 file is a team deadline. The star does not withhold it.

Share the work the clock requires

Opening the chart does not charge you. Name the peer row if it is present, drop the accusation, and meet the deadline with the people who are actually on the project. Help covers a blank hour, which simply means no hour stem to label as either peer.
