Wedding Dates: Almanac, BaZi Match, and What We Will Not Promise
A wedding date on this site is an almanac rank for the rite, with an optional light touch from each person’s birth date. It is not a BaZi certificate that the marriage will hold, and it is not a compatibility score in disguise. The charts, if you read them, speak about each person.
Key facts
- The wedding occasion looks for the almanac’s wedding line among suitable and unsuitable activities.
- Weight sits on the wedding line: four if the rite is listed as suitable, five off if it is listed as unsuitable. Road and officer are tie-breaks of a point or two, and they lose to a direct unsuitable line.
- A birth date adds only clash penalties: six if the day’s clash hits your year branch after Start of Spring, four if it hits your day branch. It is not a full hourly chart of the wedding day.
- Two birth dates mean two passes. A day that suits the rite and clashes neither branch is a courtesy, not a blessing.
- The relationship palace does not have to “approve” a person you have already chosen. Scripts that name a fated spouse are refused.
- The date is not legal advice. Licenses, notice periods, and who may marry are matters of law where you live.
What the almanac is sorting
Traditional notes treat a wedding as a specific activity, not as a generic lucky day. A date can be fine for travel and poor for a wedding, or the reverse, because the suitable and unsuitable lists differ. Between those clear cases, path and officer break ties. You are choosing a better fit inside your window, not locating the only lawful day in the year.
A venue hold in Amsterdam
A couple has a hold on three Saturdays, and one parent can fly on only two of them. If the free preview lands on the Saturday the parent cannot make, that preview is a top-of-method day, not a command. Take a day the parent can travel. The annual pillar is weather. The parent is a person.
Birth dates without a second horoscope
Imagine one partner born in late January, so the year branch may still be the previous branch if Start of Spring had not arrived, and another who knows a day pillar but not an hour. The tool can apply the clash penalties it actually knows. It will not build an hour palace into the wedding morning. Couples marry on clash days and stay, and couples marry on Open days and part. The day did not do either outcome.
What the charts should not be asked
Read charts, if you want, months before you pick a Saturday, and ask questions about temperament rather than permission. Does either person merge so fast that a wedding date becomes a way to avoid a conversation? The gender essay is clear: sex at birth turns luck direction only, and only when the hour is known. It does not choose the bridegroom or the bride.
Pressure, pregnancy, and other people’s clocks
Families accelerate weddings for reasons they dress up as metaphysics. A pregnancy, a visa, an inheritance, a grandparent’s health. A wedding can move. Care should not.
Licenses and witnesses
Some places require notice, a civil officiant, or a waiting period. Those rules are the window. Religious requirements are similar: if a faith has a day it will not use, the faith wins. The almanac is a guest at that wedding, not the host.
How to hold the result lightly
Pick two or three dates that survive the real constraints. Note which one the method prefers and why, in one sentence: the wedding line is suitable, the officer is Open, neither birth branch is clashed. False claims make the tradition look brittle. The tradition can survive a black-path Saturday chosen for a grandparent.
Guests and their charts
You do not need the birth data of every guest. A wedding is not a group BaZi. You may also explain that a room full of branches cannot be simultaneously unclashed. Kindness includes not letting one elder’s animal veto a marriage.
After the day
The marriage begins on the date and then stops being a date. If the week is hard, do not recast the officer. That habit makes repair harder, because the argument is never about the dishes. It is about an omen, and omens do not apologize.
A note on second weddings and small ones
The same occasion line covers a large rite and a small one. A second marriage is not a metaphysically lesser wedding.
Courthouse slots
A courthouse appointment is not a failed rite if it is the wedding you want. Use the rank when the clerk offers a choice of days. Skip it when the clerk gave you one slot.
Balance is not an insult
Balance is one of the twelve officers and is not a slight. The twelve-value essay lists them without a moral ladder. The relationship is not more real on Success than on Balance.
What this is not
- A promise that the marriage will last, be happy, or produce children.
- A compatibility percentage or a fated-spouse test.
- Legal advice about who may marry, notice, visas, or property.
- A full BaZi of the wedding day, hour by hour, matched to both charts.
- A reason to exclude a parent who can only travel on a lower-ranked Saturday.
- A medical calendar if health, pregnancy, or disability is part of the planning.
