BaZi Birth Data Checklist Before Ordering a Reading

Before you order a BaZi reading, check the inputs as if a stranger will believe them, because the engine will: a civil date, a birthplace you can name, and either a defensible hour or a deliberate blank. Sex at birth matters only if you want the luck steps on the full chart, and a pretty paragraph cannot repair a wrong day. This checklist is the work that belongs before any charge, and it is the same work.

Key facts

  • Date first: day, month, year, as on the record, aware that late January can still sit in the previous solar year.
  • Place second: the birth city or facility’s zone, not the city you live in now.
  • Hour third: a recorded civil time, or empty. Empty is a valid choice. A guess is not.
  • Sex at birth is the direction switch for luck steps. The light chart does not need it to name the day master and the ten gods you can see.
  • Near a branch edge, a solar term, or midnight, pause and reread the source before you memorize structure or day master.
  • Light BaZi is $12.99 and full BaZi is $19.99. The checklist is not a product. Ordering does not make a shaky hour true.

Date, place, hour, in that order

Confirm the calendar date against the document, including whether the form used a month-first or day-first order. A swapped day and month is a different person in the pillars. If the birthday falls in late January or early February, remember the year pillar follows Start of Spring, not 1 January and not the lunar new year. You do not calculate the term by hand. You do type the civil date correctly so the cast can. The four pillars explain why that solar year is not the Western new year.

Place is the birthplace. If you have moved across regions, resist the urge to pick the city where you “feel from.” A reading for a life in Rotterdam can still have a natal chart from another city. Relocation is not a new four pillars. If you are choosing a moving day, that is an almanac question on Pick a Good Day, not a rewrite of the hour.

Hour: if you can point to a line on a certificate or a contemporaneous note, enter the civil time in 24-hour form. If you cannot, leave it blank. Do not enter 12:00 as a placeholder. Do not enter the time you were told “people like you” are born. The full chart’s extra layers that need the hour, including eight luck steps, will wait. That wait is cheaper than a fiction.

A ten-minute check in Valencia

A reader in Valencia wants a full reading before a job decision on Thursday. She sets a timer for ten minutes and does only this: photo of the registry line on the desk, date read aloud, city of the hospital circled, time copied as 16:05 rather than “four-ish,” sex-at-birth field understood as a luck-direction switch and nothing else. She does not open a second tab to compare her chart with a colleague’s. The Thursday decision still depends on the offer letter. The checklist only stops her from paying, later, for pillars that came from a misread “18:05.” The form can be opened during the ten minutes. The offer still expires on the employer’s clock.

Edges that deserve a second look

If the time is within about ten minutes of an odd hour, the branch could be sensitive to solar correction. If the date is the day a solar term falls, the month could move. If the time is between 22:30 and 00:30, reread the midnight rule before you fall in love with a day master. None of these edges mean the chart is cursed. They mean the input is doing more work than usual. What BaZi is is stable when the inputs are stable, and honest when you flag the edge in your own notes.

Light chart or full chart

Choose the light chart when you want the pillars you can cast, ten gods, element balance, structure, and a short reading. Choose the full chart when you also want hidden stems, void, richer structure notes, symbolic stars, clashes, and the luck steps — and only expect the steps if hour and sex at birth are both present. Buying the full document to force a blank hour into a ladder will disappoint you on purpose. The product would rather omit the ladder than invent the clock.

Do not order a reading for a child, a student you teach, or an employee. Adults request their own. Do not order one as a gift that requires someone else’s birth time without their knowledge. A surprise chart is a privacy problem, not a kindness. If you are the only subject, you can still decide later not to share the result.

Prices, when checkout can charge, are $12.99 for light and $19.99 for full. Good Day plans, if you also want date ranking, are a different product: $12.99 a month, $29.99 a quarter, $89.99 a year. None of those figures is a reason to skip the checklist. A wrong city is not refunded by the metaphysics. Correct the input and recast. The new chart replaces the old. It does not sit beside it as an alternate soul.

After you order, or before you can

The same checklist belongs on the confirmation screen in your head: date, place, hour or blank, and whether you asked for steps you are actually allowed to see. If any line is wrong, fix it before you annotate the printout or send it to anyone. Annotations on a bad cast become “the reading” in memory, and they are hard to unstick.

While payment does not exist, the checklist is still the whole discipline. You can run it, open the tool, and read. You can also decide the data is too soft and stop. Stopping is a successful use of the list. Help covers accounts and saving, if you want the cast kept. Saving does not improve a fuzzy hour. The guidance boundary still applies after a perfect checklist: the chart is not medical, legal, or financial advice, and a clean input does not promise a clean year.

If a clinician, a contract, or a filing deadline is the real appointment this week, do that appointment. The checklist can ride along in a notebook. It should not become the reason you miss the appointment because a term day made you anxious about the month pillar. Anxiety is a reason to slow the chart, not a reason to slow the hospital or the payroll office.

What this is not

  • A guarantee that the registry is correct about a minute. It is a way to avoid adding your own error.
  • A noon default, a Beijing default, or a “current city” default.
  • A children’s intake form.
  • A substitute for reading an offer, a lease, or a clinical letter.
  • A prompt to buy the full chart when the hour is unknown and what you want is the ladder.
  • Not entertainment packaging. The list is how you feed a professional guidance tool. The past-life quiz is fiction and does not use this checklist.
