Privacy, Email Magic Link, and Your Readings
The email magic link is a sign-in, not a bill. You leave an email, open the link, and land on the account. From a Good Day result or a BaZi chart, “Save this reading” can ride along so the account keeps a title, a short summary, and the page link. The link does not charge a card, does not start a subscription, and does not open checkout.
Key facts
- The link is one use and expires in 20 minutes. The session cookie that follows is httpOnly and lasts 30 days.
- Saving a reading stores a title, a short summary, and the page link. It does not store a payment, because no payment is taken.
- The same email is the key for a waitlist note. A waitlist note is not an order.
- The free past-life card does not need an account. The quiz is entertainment fiction and can be finished without email.
- BaZi and Pick a Good Day are guidance. Saving them does not relabel them as entertainment and does not make them medical, legal, or financial advice.
- Sign-out clears the session. Asking for a new link is how you get back in.
What the link is for
The account exists so a reading you already generated can be found again on this site, and so a waitlist note has a home when you want one. The framing is practical: save this Good Day preview, save this chart, see the notes attached to this email. It is not a membership club and it does not confer a metaphysical status.
You request the link from the account page or from the save control on a result. The message goes to that email when mail is configured. You open it, the site sets a session, and it sends you to the account. If a reading was attached to the request, it is saved when the link is opened. If you only wanted the account, the account opens without inventing a reading.
The link works once. A second click of the same URL will not sign you in again. A new request sends a new link. Twenty minutes is the life of an unused link. Those limits are there so a forwarded URL dies quickly. Treat the message as you would treat a sign-in message from a bank: do not post it, and do not forward it to a group chat if the reading is personal.
What is stored with a saved reading
The save is small on purpose. A title, a short summary, and the link back to the page. It is enough to recognize “travel window, October” or “light chart” later. It is not a full export of every field for a data broker, and it is not an order record.
It does not reserve a price, does not lock the free Good Day preview, and does not create a $12.99 monthly plan or a $19.99 chart purchase. Prices on the shelf stay prices on the shelf.
What the free quiz does instead
The past-life quiz finishes as a free card: era, archetype, a short opening, and a share image. No account is required. That card is entertainment fiction. If you later sign in to save a BaZi chart, the quiz card does not become a chart, and the chart does not become a quiz. The account is a cabinet. The tracks stay labeled.
Birth details for BaZi and the dates in a Good Day window are personal in the ordinary sense. The chart can include a birth date, a time, a city, and sex at birth when you supplied them for luck direction. The Good Day match can include a birth date used only as a year pillar after Start of Spring and a day pillar. Saving the reading keeps the summary on the account email you chose. Do not save a reading to an inbox you share if you do not want that summary seen by whoever else reads the inbox.
Session, sign-out, and device
After the link is used, the session cookie keeps you signed in for 30 days. It is httpOnly, so a script on a page is not the way it is read. Signing out deletes the session. On a shared computer, sign out when you are done. The cookie is not a payment method. Clearing it does not refund anything, because nothing was charged.
If a link does not arrive, check the address and request it again after a short wait. The account is not a charge, and there is no cart on the email. The help page and the privacy page state the same behavior. If a screen and this page disagree, follow the screen and the privacy page.
What saving does not change about the reading
A saved BaZi chart is still guidance. Light remains the pillars, ten gods, element balance, useful-element sketch, and short reading, at a $12.99 shelf price. Full remains the deeper print at $19.99, including luck steps only when hour and sex at birth were both known. Saving does not fill a blank hour and does not invent luck steps that were correctly omitted.
A saved Good Day preview is still one free day. Saving does not open the rest of the window. The plans at $12.99 a month, $29.99 every three months, and $89.99 a year remain closed with checkout. The score rules do not change because you are signed in. The same window still returns the same order.
Health lines in a chart remain element metaphor. The almanac still omits medical activity lines from the card. A saved reading is not a record you should hand to a clinic, a court, or a lender as if it were an expert report. It is a metaphysics reading you chose to keep.
Sharing an inbox, sharing a chart
If you forward the result page itself, you are sharing whatever the page shows: pillars, a birth date, a ranked day. The magic link is a worse thing to forward, because it signs the holder into the account until it expires or is used. Share the reading, if you share anything, not the sign-in URL. The essay on sharing a chart beside a past-life card walks through that difference. The past-life card was built as a share image. The chart was built as a reading of birth data.
Deleting what you typed into a quiz on a device can be as simple as starting again, which replaces the local answers. A saved reading is something you can ask to remove through the same support path if the account tools do not already show it. Do not assume a screenshot in your own camera roll is deleted because the account was cleared.
What this is not
- Not a charge, a subscription, or an order. The link does not open checkout.
- Not a 30-day payment authorization. The 30 days are a session length.
- Not a requirement for the free past-life card.
- Not a way to buy the rest of a Good Day window or a BaZi chart.
- Not medical, legal, or financial consent. Saving a reading does not make it advice of those kinds.
- Not a public profile. The account is the email’s cabinet, not a social page.
